The best way to end a Tuesday is with a taco. I mean the name suggests it all. Taco Tuesday. That is a staple at the Rebman household. When we went to Nashville this past year, all I wanted to do was to find a shirt that said “I went to Nashville and all I ate was tacos.” Shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, BBQ tacos. I found it and tried it in Nashville.
Since starting weight watchers though I’ve had to modify how I eat the delicious tacos. I’m still experimenting some but I did come up with a homemade seasoning that I’ve come to love. We used to use the Taco Bell store bought seasoning but I was starting to feel bad every time we ate tacos. Then one night I was browning some ground beef and I reached in my pantry to find that I hadn’t restocked the taco seasoning.
I know, I know. The horror! 😱 But I’m pretty resourceful in the kitchen so I Googled what goes into taco seasoning and I had everything I needed to make some myself. Here is what I used to make a taco seasoning. I am so excited to share it with you.
You can also use this seasoning mix to make fajitas as well as tacos.
